Curt's Delectable Italian Calzone/Stromboli Recipe


Stromboli:
Directions:
1. Take Fresh Dough and spread out on a Crisco Greased Cookie Sheet
2. Layer out ingredients:
Mozzarella, Deli Ham or Capicolla (Italian Hot Ham), Salami, Bologna,  (All Cold Cuts Sliced into small 1x1 squares 2 or 3 slices each), Pepperoni, Pecorino Romano Cheese.
3. Drizzle Olive oil Lightly over the ingredients for extra flavor
4. Dust insides also with granulated garlic or garlic powder and Italian Bread Crumbs
5. Top ingredients with additional Mozzarella Cheese (Not too Heavy)
6. Fold Stromboli so that all sides are overlapping with no holes in Dough
7. Ensure that all exposed folds are placed down on a new non greased Cookie sheet with Parchment Paper.
8. Egg wash Out side of dough and again dust with Pecorino Romano Cheese, Oregano and Garlic powder.

Bake at 400 Degrees F Until outside golden brown and Crisp and inside no longer doughy. Approx 30 minutes. 

Calzone:
1. Take Fresh Dough and spread out on a Crisco Greased Cookie Sheet

Ricotta Cheese Spread Even across dough
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Provolone Cheese
Add 1 tbsp margarine or butter to top of cheeses
3. Fold calzone so that all sides are overlapping with no holes in Dough
4. Ensure that all exposed folds are placed down on a new non greased Cookie sheet with Parchment Paper.
5. Egg wash Out side of dough and again dust with Pecorino Romano Cheese, Oregano and Garlic powder.
Bake at 400 Degrees F Until outside golden brown and Crisp and inside no longer doughy. Approx 30 minutes.

Our family has our own pizza dough recipe, however you can buy it and make this is no time! Curt's Grilled Black and Blue Bacon Angus Burger Recipe

One of my specialities I made this summer. It's hard not to fall in love with these burgers if you a blue cheese and bacon kind of lover like I am. This melted blue cheese is one of my favorites.   Use an age Danish Blue Cheese at least aged over 60 days.    A little on each burger will go a long way, it's a very strong tasting cheese.   I love blue cheese so there is no such thing as too much for me!
