Country Breakfast Skillet I have always been a big fan of country breakfasts. Sausage gravy and biscuits. Cooked ham and eggs. My favorite breakfast is this delicious Country Breakfast Skillet. It is made with four ingredients. Very simple to make and is very hearty and filling.

Curt's Delectable Herb Cheddar Biscuit Recipe

I am a bread lover kind of guy. We love our cheddar biscuits, these are one we make at least once a month with our meal. Very addicting if I say so myself..  hope you like the recipe. I could eat just bread sometimes, the cheese is my favorite! Plain Biscuit Dough 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 cup shortening 2 tablespoons butter, chilled 1 cup milk Heat oven to 450°. Adjust oven rack to center position. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Cut in chilled shortening and butter until you have pieces the size of small peas. Make a well in center of dry ingredients; pour in milk. Add any cheese or spices at this point.  With a wooden spoon, gently blend dry ingredients into the milk, just until mixture is clumping together. If necessary, add a few more teaspoons of milk.
