Jacked Up Ribeye Steak Recipe

The best thing about winter in Florida is being able to cook outside all year long. We just moved into our new home and have a screened in porch. Our house warming gift was a new grill which we use pretty much everyday. These jacked up steaks were marinated in a fabulous booze that made the meat melt in your mouth,  Hope you can give them a try or save the recipe for when you can. Thanks and have a wonderful Holiday season!

Jacked Up Ribeye Steak Recipe

3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon each thyme, rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of cayenne pepper
Olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
Ribeye steaks as many as you need this is enough for 4 steaks
Whiskey to cover steak

In a large glass 13 x 9 deep pan, add the steaks to the dish drizzle both sides with olive oil,. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, herbs, spices and lemon juice on both side. Then pour to cover them steaks with whiskey. Marinate overnight.

When ready to grill, shake off the marinade before adding to the grill. Cook to your taste in doneness.

These are great served with gravy. I usually buy a jar and add 3 tablespoon of whiskey to a jar of beef gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes and corn. Enjoy!
